Bethel Park woman injured in fatal Fayette crash

A Bethel Park woman was injured in a fatal four-vehicle crash July 24 in Fayette County.

Charles Marsh, 58, and Kelley Marsh, 57, both of Lowber in Westmoreland County, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to state police.

The four-vehicle wreck occurred just before 1 p.m. on Mill Run Road, near its intersection with Killarney Road. in Springfield Township.

Police said Charles Marsh was driving his motorcycle south and failed to negotiate a turn, crossed the center line and struck a camper that was being towed by an SUV. He and Kelley Marsh were killed on impact, police said.

Police said the driver of the SUV, Norman Humes, 40, of Apollo, was uninjured. Passengers in the SUV, including Alexis N. Humes, 41, of Apollo, and children aged 3, 7 and 9, were also uninjured, police said.

Two motorcycles traveling behind them crashed as a result of debris being thrown in the roadway, according to police. Natalie Zacoi, 43, of Bethel Park, a passenger on a motorcycle driven by Sean P. Molyneaux, 45, of Verona, was transported to Frick Hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the other motorcycle was identified as John L. Stratton, 63, of West Newton.

Police said Molyneaux and Stratton sustained suspected minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

Also responding to the scene was Normalville Fire Department, Springfield Township Fire Department and Mutual Aid EMS.
