Author to speak on self-doubt at USC

Best-selling author Kate Leavell will deliver a presentation, “Superpower: Overcome Self-doubt and Unleash Your Authentic Greatness,” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 7 in the Upper St. Clair High School theater.

The presentation will include themes from her two books.” A Wall Street Journal Best-Seller, “Stick Together” delivers a message about the power of belief, ownership, connection, love, inclusion, consistency and hope. Recently released, “Superpower” offers a compelling story of self-love, appreciation and the power of sharing and connecting with those around us through vulnerability and understanding.
There will be a meet-and-greet session with the author from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the high school’s large group instruction (LGI) room, located across the hallway from the theater. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Attendance at the meet and greet is limited to 50 and registration is required.
In addition to the evening community event, Leavell will conduct an interactive presentation with the middle and high school faculty earlier in the day.
This event is made possible through the partnership between the school district and the Parent Teacher Council Wellness Committee along with support from private contributions.
