South Fayette Community Day set for Saturday at Fairview Park

1 min read

South Fayette Community Day will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fairview Park.

It will feature two stages of live music and shows, a game tent with bingo and puzzle competitions, a zip line, dozens of vendors and more. Food and drink concessions will be available. For adults age 21 and over, alcohol will be available from Recon Brewing and Black Dog Wine Company.

Last year’s event drew about 6,000 people.

“This is the sixth year that we’ve held Community Day, and it just keeps getting bigger and better,” said Paula Willis, parks and recreation director for South Fayette Township.

Except for service animals, pets are not permitted in the park during Community Day. The Bark Park will be closed all day.

Accessible parking is available. General parking is limited inside Fairview Park. Golf cart shuttles are available to transport passengers from the parking lots to the event area. Shuttle bus transportation, provided by the South Fayette School District, will be available at Kiddie Academy and Zion Lutheran Church, both located on Washington Pike. The first pickup will be at 10:30 a.m.

The entertainment schedule and other information is available at southfayettepa.com/communityday.
