Peters Township grad earns rank of major
Byron Zajdel was promoted to the rank of major in the U.S. Army Reserve. Zajdel is a member of the Army’s Space Battalion at Fort Carson, Colo.
A 2008 Peters Township High School graduate, he attended the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, earning a commission in 2012. In 2020, he graduated from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business.
Currently, Zajdel is employed by Westinghouse Electric.
Zajdel is the son of Daniel and Laura Zajdel, formerly of Peters Township.
