Bethel Park GetGo closing Jan. 31
The GetGo in Bethel Park is closing. Located at 5281 Library Road, near the entrance of South Park, the cafe, market and gas fill-up operation will cease operations on Jan. 31.
“We’re heartbroken to make this announcement as we love this community and the guests we serve here,” said GetGo Public Relations Manager Brandon Daniels.
Daniels noted that the closure is the result of the landowner ending the lease with the organization from which GetGo was subleasing the property. Daniels also said the team is currently evaluating new properties in the area.
He stated, “Our commitment remains with the Bethel Park community, and we’re actively looking for an opportunity to build a brand-new store nearby.”
Currently, the GetGo location employs 14 people. They will have the opportunity to relocate to one of the other GetGo locations.
Nearby GetGo stores are located on Fort Counch Road in Bethel Park, Washington Road in Mt. Lebanon; Sawmill Run Boulevard in Brentwood, Washington Road in McMurray and Cochran Road. None are more than 4.6 miles away from the BP location.
GetGo is an innovative, food-first convenience store experience with more than 260 locations throughout western Pennsylvania, Ohio, northern West Virginia, Maryland and Indiana. GetGo offers food and fuel in a variety of models.
GetGo is the second major closing in the vicinity. Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ, located on South Park Road, closed in December. It had opened in July of 2022.
