Amusement parks hiring for season
Kennywood, Sandcastle, Idlewild and SoakZone are gearing up for the upcoming summer and is in need of more than 2,000 team members.
Job opportunities exist in food and beverage, rides, lifeguards, admissions and security. Applicants must be age 14 or older. Forms can be completed online at each establishment’s website.
In-person job fairs will held March 11 and April 1.
While hiring is underway, the parks continue to prepare for opening days this spring.
Continuing its 125th Celebration, Kennywood will debut Spinvasion. The first ride of its kind in the United States will blast off as the centerpiece of the all-new Area 412, providing a combination of speed and gravity.
The park will also celebrate the 50th anniversary of the famed Potato Patch. Though the original location never changed since its 1973 debut, the building has grown to meet the demand. The place for fresh-cut fries can also be found at Sandcastle and Idlewild.
