Sounds of music
Violinists Darko Kosovec, Sunny Liu and Matthew Pfeiffer participated in the PMEA District 1 Elementary Orchestra Fest held recently at North Hills Middle School. The Upper St. Clair residents are sixth-grade students and members of the Boyce Middle School orchestra, which is led by Christine Hestwood. At the festival, Pierce Cook served as guest conductor. He serves as the music director for the TRYPO Symphonette and teaches orchestra at Mellon Middle School in the Mt. Lebanon School District.
