Peters Township leaf collections set
Fall leaf collections have begun in Peters Township.
Leaf waste will be collected on the same day as regular garbage collection dates from Oct. 30-Nov. 2; Nov. 6-9; Nov. 13-16 and Nov. 27-30. There will be no pickup on Thanksgiving week.
Leaves are picked up as a separate collection from garbage and recycling. Leaf waste will continue to be composted at the municipal compost site.
Leaves will also be collected on regular trash days after Nov. 30
During designated leaf collection weeks, leaves must be placed in paper lawn and leaf bags or they will not be taken.
Leaf waste in plastics bags will not be picked up during the leaf collection season.
All bags must be at curbside by 6 a.m.
