“The President’s Own” United States Marine Band will perform a free concert Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m. at Mt. Lebanon High School.

Organizers from Mt. Lebanon High School, including Band Director Jason Cheskawich, have worked to bring the band from the nation’s capital and make this community event possible.

For full details, visit www.marineband.marines.mil/Tour. Free tickets are available online (limit 4 per request). Seating is general admission and ticket holders must be seated by 7:15 p.m.; remaining seats will be released to the standby line at that time.

The Marine band is performing in the Pittsburgh area for the first time in five years. By the end of this year’s 31-day tour, the Marine Band will have covered more than 4,600 miles to and around the Midwest, performing in 29 different cities in 11 states.

The Marine Band is America’s oldest continuously active professional musical organization. Founded in 1798, the band has performed for every U.S. President since John Adams.
