Old Schoolhouse Players presents Ken Ludwig’s award-winning mystery-thriller “The Game’s Afoot” for one final weekend at the theater at 20 Wabash Ave., Hickory.
It’s December 1936 and Broadway star William Gillette, who created the theatrical role of Sherlock Holmes, invites his fellow cast members to his Connecticut castle for some holiday revelry. But when one of the guests is stabbed to death, the festivities take a dangerous turn and Gillette must assume his stage persona to track down the killer.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 20-21 and 3 p.m. Oct. 22.
Tickets are $14 for adults, $12 for seniors and students and $8 for children 12 and under.
