South Park native Emily Figliolia helped the Washington & Jefferson College women’s golf team be named 2019-20 Presidents’ Athletic Conference runner-up.

W&J received the honor based on the 36-hole results of the 2019 PAC Fall Championship after the spring season was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Figliolia was one of four W&J golfers to finish in the top 15. The Seton LaSalle graduate posted a two-day score of 189 (94-95) to place seventh overall. The junior was also named to the All-PAC second team.

This year’s PAC Championships were the first to be limited to the results of the 36-hole fall event since the 2011-12 season. The championships were played at Avalon Golf & Country Club in Warren, Ohio, as well as at Chestnut Ridge Golf Course in Blairsville.
