Three South Hills area athletes earned recognition on the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association’s all-state team.

South Fayette senior Blaine Jones gained acclaim at the Class 3A level. Jones was a 6-3 outside hitter for the Lions this spring.

Seton LaSalle standouts Nathan Zini and Mason Woolensack were named at the AA level.

A 6-7 right-side hitter, Zini is a two-time honoree that matriculated to St. Francis University this fall.

A 5-9 setter, Woolensack is a first-time selection. He is a senior for the Rebels, who won their first WPIAL volleyball title in May.

In that championship contest, a 3-1 triumph against North Catholic, Zini recorded 43 kills and two service aces.
