Chartiers Valley player earns another award

Chartiers Valley’s Brayden Reynolds added another honor to his basketball achievements when the senior guard earned first-team accolades on the Pennsylvania Sports Writers All-State team.
Reynolds averaged 24.9 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals for the Colts, who were 22-4 overall and WPIAL Class 5A runners-up this season.
Reynolds finished his career with 1,523 points. His finest performance occurred in a 77-59 victory at New Castle when he scored a personal-best 42 points, buried six 3-pointers and grabbed 15 rebounds against the Hurricanes
Reynolds earned Section 2 and WPIAL Class 5 A Player of the Year honors as well as being named The Almanac MVP.
Reynolds has gained the attention of the U.S. Military Academy but has recently picked up a few additional Division I offers to supplement the ones he had received from Mercyhurst, Notre Dame College and Pitt-Johnstown.
