Bethel Park, USC volleyball players honored
Sydney Angel from Upper St. Clair and Grace Lejeck from Bethel Park were named Class 4A Players of the Week by the Western Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association.
They shared the honor with Mia Shubert from Shaler
A senior, Angel is a setter for the Panthers.
A junior, Lejeck is an outside hitter for the Black Hawks.
In Class AAA, seniors Kaylin Goldstrohm from South Fayette and Becky Stevens from Chartiers Valley shared Player of the Week honors with Franklin Regional’s Sydney Breitkrevtz and Hampton’s Kai Herchenroether.
Goldstrohm is a libero for the Lions.
Stevens is a middle hitter for the Colts.
