Bethel Park’s Gianni LaMolinare and Fred Mach both placed during the PIAA rifle championships. Both finished in the Top 10 among shooters.

LaMolinare, who was 13 during the WPIAL finals, took third.

Mach, who was the WPIAL bronze medalist, finished ninth in the state competition.

“We are extremely happy and pleased with Gianni’s and Freddie’s performances,” said BP rifle coach Jude Dressler.

In other rifle news, Bethel Park placed three shooters in the Top 5 during the senior shot.

In the final match of the season, LaMolinare took third with a 200-18x score.

Though Owen Chaffin and AJ Huber both shot 200-17x marks, Chaffin finished fourth and Huber followed in fifth based on the preciseness of their shots.
