Christian and Luke Brumbaugh were on hand to support their younger brother, Brett, as he led South Fayette to its first PIAA title for football. Brett shattered Christian’s WPIAL single-season passing record on his 68-yard TD strike to Justin Watson in the second stanza. Brett completed 18 of 25 passes for 299 yards and three scores and finished with 3,917 yards for the year. Christian, who quarterbacks the Tribe at the College of William and Mary, took the Lions to the state finals in 2010. Luke, who is a quarterback at Robert Morris University, played for Seton-La Salle, a conference rival of the Lions.
