Producers Jude and Shirley Pohl announce the return of their zany Nuns – The Servants of Our Lady of Joyful Agony and Grief – to their Crowne Plaza Cabaret Dinner Theatre in Bethel Park. The Sisters will open “Retro Nuns” on Aug. 3 for a five-performance engagement. The show will run on Fridays and Saturdays, Aug. 3, 10, 23 and 24 with a special Sunday matinee on Aug. 11. The Sisters are now on a national tour performing all of their favorite songs from the ’50s and ’60s – along with a few “ringers” from the ’70s.

Starring in “Retro Nuns” are Anita Spano, Nancy Shawgo, Susan Franz and Katie Zemaitis with accompaniment by Musical Director Carol Karl and Percussionist Roger Dimit.

After the Sunday show, audience members will partake in a traditional church supper consisting of fried chicken, stuffed cabbage, pierogies, broccoli-cheddar bake, fire and ice salad and assorted cookies and brownies for dessert.

Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 p.m. with dinner served at 6:30. The Sunday show begins at 3:30 with dinner following.

Price of the dinner theatre package is $40 (includes tax and tip).

The theatre is located at 164 Fort Couch Road – directly across the street from South Hills Village Mall.
