USC renews O’Toole’s contract
Dr. Patrick T. O’Toole, superintendent of the Upper St. Clair School District, received the full support of the school board June 18 when his contract was extended for five years through June 30, 2018. He has held the position since March of 2007.
The starting salary will be $160,000 annually.
“The renewal of Dr. O’Toole’s contract is in recognition of the district’s continued success. The leadership team he has put in place has contributed to the district’s high level of recognition at the state and national level,” said Barbara Bolas, board president. “The board has been pleased with Dr. O’Toole’s performance through his current term.”
He earned degrees from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and the University of Pittsburgh. O’Toole began his teaching career in Sandusky, Ohio. He was an associate principal in Greenville and a principal and superintendent in Shenango Township schools. He was also superintendent for South Butler County School District.
O’Toole is president of the Tri-State Area School Study Council at the University of Pittsburgh and treasurer of the South Hills Area School District Association.
