COACHES COMMENTS: According to her basketball coach John Ashaolu, Angela distinguished himself as a role model. She gives 110 percent at all times. She leads by example. She is always the one to encourage her teammates. Angela is a true example of sportsmanship on and off the court.
After one season, Kevin Hummert, who has coached girls’ volleyball for 15 years, was sold on Angela. He found her to be the best student/athlete/role model/leader that he has ever coached. “Not only does she excel at a high level in everything she does related to athletics and academics, she cares about everyone around her enough to motivate them to work and achieve more. This self-less characteristic is something that is rare in this day and age. It is what separates her from other successful high school athletes. Anglea’s success is only the beginning of what will be a life that will make Seton-La Salle and anyone associated with her very proud to have known her.”
