Weather causing delays on T

1 min read

Detours and delays are in effect on Port Authority’s light rail system due to multiple instances of disabled vehicles due to the extreme cold weather.

Red Line outbound service is detoured via the Blue Line’s routing from South Hills Junction to Willow due to a disabled train near the Arlington stop in Castle Shannon. Riders should board outbound Red Line to reach their final destination without transferring – the train will travel outbound to Washington Junction, then change ends and head inbound on the Red Line’s regular routing.

Blue Line-South Hills Village service has resumed regular routing after earlier single-tracking due to a disabled train and power outage near the Dorchester stop.

Blue Line-Library is regular route.

T riders should expect delays system-wide due to these issues.
