Piano jazz and the smell of grilled scallops greeted over 200 guests at the annual St. Clair Hospital Summer Swing fundraiser on July 18, as hospital leadership celebrated 60 years of growth at St. Clair Country Club.

Hospital President and CEO James Collins said the occasion is always well-attended, and that contributions help growth.

“We’ve expanded from a community hospital to a regional resource and nationally recognized hospital system. We just opened an outpatient center in Peters Township … and we’ve been recognized again for the third straight year as a ‘Most Wired’ hospital by Hospitals & Health Network magazine for having outstanding digital records management for patients. And we just opened a new radiology clinic.”

There were over 20 corporate sponsors for the event. Individual ticket donations were $175.00.
