Planned power outages in South Fayette April 7

West Penn Power will temporarily interrupt service to customers in some parts of South Fayette Township on April 7 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

Approximately 509 customers, mostly with Cuddy and McDonald mailing addresses, will be affected by the service interruption and will be notified in advance by an automated phone message, according to West Penn Power and South Fayette Township officials. Some of roads impacted include, but are not limited to, the following:

Bowman Street, Forest Ridge Drive, Granville Court, Hinsdale Lane, Interlaken Drive, Lenox Lane, Middlefield Drive, Montville Drive, Old Oakdale Road (not including school campus), School Street, Sherwood Drive, Stockbridge Court, Sunridge Drive, Terrace View Drive, Wallace Street and Windsor Drive.

The school district buildings and municipal buildings will not be affected.

In case of inclement weather, the outage will take place on April 8. The interruption is necessary for continued electric service reliability.
