Jordan Holmes of Mt. Lebanon earned first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) honors for the second-consecutive year. The Denison University sophomore led Division III in blocked shots for the second-straight season with 5.37 per game. The 6-foot-1 post player also finished second nationally in defensive rebounds per game (10.0), fourth in total rebounds per game (14.4) and fifth in field-goal percentage (63.1).
The two-time NCAC Player of the Week averaged 13.7 points per game which ranked ninth in the NCAC. She registered her third-career triple-double (31 points, 19 rebounds, 10 blocks) in a 23-point victory over Hiram.
In just two seasons, Holmes has compiled 655 points, 784 rebounds and 309 blocks. She enters her junior year 27 blocks shy of the school and NCAC record. Holmes also ranks third in career rebounds at Denison.
As a team, Denison was second in Division III in blocked shots (7.3 per game). The Big Red finished the season 15-12 overall and third in the NCAC with a 10-6 record.
