Financial donations being accepted for hurricane recovery efforts

1 min read

Global Links, a Green Tree-based international humanitarian aid organization, is accepting financial donations to cover the cost of shipping medical equipment and supplies that will support health services and hospitals damaged by Hurricane Matthew in the Caribbean.

Hospital gloves, masks and gowns are among the items being packed at the Global Links headquarters. Those and other medical supplies and surplus equipment donated by hospitals and businesses throughout Western Pennsylvania will be shipped to Global Links’ partners on the ground in each country and distributed to the communities most impacted by the storm.

Donations can be made online at www.globallinks.org or by sending a check to: Global Links, 700 Trumbull Drive, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15205.
