off the WALL presents world premiere comedy

Oct. 12-15
‘I Won’t Be In On Monday’
off the Wall Productions opens it season with the world premiere comedy “I Won’t Be In On Monday,” written and performed by Anne Stockton.
As an actor/trainer for the New York City Police Department’s Hostage Negotiation Team and Emergency Service Unit, Stockton plays mentally ill individuals in training scenarios based on real life events. She is also a practicing psychiatrist.
Her insight into the criminal mind has been a big part in creating the character of Nicki, the protagonist in “I Won’t Be In On Monday.” The story sounds simple, Nikki is being interviewed by a detective in the high level financial firm where she works about the disappearance of two very valuable rings earlier that morning. But, as new information is revealed about the characters’ past and about the current situation, the story begins to unfold into a ‘who dunnit’ play. A witty look at the ways in which we are swept away by the scenarios we imagine for our lives.
Performances are at 8 p.m. Oct. 12, 13 and 15 and 3 p.m. Oct. 15.
Tickets at $5-$40 are available at www.insideoffthewall.com or by phone at 724-873-3576.
