Tutors sought for reading and writing

OASIS, a nonprofit organization that recruits adults ages 50 and older to tutor children in the Pittsburgh Public or Woodland Hills school districts in grades K-4 in reading and writing, is seeking volunteers. All training, materials and clearances are free. Training sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Nov. 6 and 9 at the OASIS office, Suite 525, 411 Seventh Ave., Downtown Pittsburgh.
