If so, you may be able to participate in a University of Pittsburgh research study called ‘Sustain-DPP’ to help find out how two long-term weight management programs may impact your type 2 diabetes risk and overall health. The study will last two years. Compensation will be provided. The study will be conducted in senior and community centers in the Pittsburgh area; the South Hills location is the Jewish Community Center on Kane Boulevard. In-person screenings will be conducted mid to late January at the JCC. For more information or to see if you are eligible, call 412-647-1845.
