Providence Point has officially broken ground on residential living space, Hamilton Tower, the long-awaited five-story building with 70 apartments and 10 new floor plans.

Hamilton Tower, the major phase of an expansion on the Providence Point campus, is slated for occupancy in the summer of 2019. It will be one of three residential apartment buildings on the 33-acre campus in Scott Twp., and will join the Madison and Adams Towers.

There are a variety of floor plans available, ranging in size from 888 sq. ft. to almost 1,900 sq. ft., to suit just about anyone’s needs. There are one and two bedroom options, one and two bath, two bedroom with den, pet-friendly and pet-free apartments. All have a balcony or patio, and have some upgrades available, including a smart-home option.

Interior designer Jessie Santini, IIDA, LEED AP BD+C, worked to ensure that design features were optimally suited for seniors. Up and down lighting in the kitchens, walk-in showers, cabinetry with pull-out drawers and easy drawer pulls, lower accessible shelving and seating, and the height of the wall plugs are all features designed to help people stay in their homes as they age.

Two-thirds of the new apartments are already reserved, and are easily accessible to all of Providence Point’s amenities. All floorplans, and much more, are available for viewing on the Providence Point website, where you can take a virtual tour to see more of the community.

“Through the diligence and foresight of our board of directors, through the patience and trust of the 52 depositors who are finalizing their plans, through the dedication of our staff, the support of our contractors and many others, Hamilton Tower will soon become a reality,” said Baptist Homes President and CEO, Al Allison.

Charter Members, those who have made their apartment selection and placed their 10 percent deposit, are already beginning to plan their move. More importantly, they are getting involved in the community and acquainted with Providence Point’s long list of amenities that include a Wellness Center with full-time health and fitness director, a spa and salon, bank, library and much more.

Providence Point opened in the summer of 2009, setting the standard for senior living in the region. The state-of-the-art community, sponsored by Baptist Homes Society, was designed with today’s active and discerning senior in mind. Currently, Providence Point offers 13 different apartment floor plans and five types of patio homes. There are four dining venues, countless options for fitness and exercise, and many areas throughout the community to explore individual interests and hobbies. Residents can also take advantage of a calendar overflowing with cultural, educational, social and fun activities.
