Run seminars
The Fleet Feet Running Club Training Programs will kick off soon and two informational sessions will be offered so participants can learn about them and decide which is best. Half and full-marathon training will be the emphasis on the seminar at 6 p.m. June 20. On July 1 at 9 a.m. No Boundaries Great Race Training will be the topic of discussion.
From middle school summer run camp to Couch-to-5K interval training, and from half and full marathon training to workshops and clinics, Fleet Feet is a resource for all things running. It’s team of coaches and mentors guide participants through their programs and across the finish line.

USC swimming
The Upper St. Clair Wahoos is a summer team sponsored by the Upper St. Clair Swim Club and participates in events through July 27. Ages 4-14 can compete. Practices are held three times per week at the high school pool and one meet is held per week in the evenings in the South Hills. PT baseball camp
The Peters Township summer baseball camp will be held from 9 a.m. to noon June 25-28 at Peterswood Park Fields No. 1 and No. 2. Ages 7-14 are eligible. Fee is $70 per person. Make checks payable to the Peters Township Baseball Association and mail to P.O. Box 998, McMurray, PA 15317. Registration will also be accepted on the first day of camp beginning at 8:30 a.m. Peters Township manager Joe Maize and his high school baseball coaching staff instruct along with current and former players of the program.

Tri training
The Community & Recreation Center at Boyce Mayview Park is offering a four-week training course from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesdays, July 3-24 for those preparing to participate in a youth triathlon this summer.
The course will cover each component of the race: swimming, cycling and running. Participants will also be able to do a mini triathlon the fourth week in preparation for the real race set. The recreation center will sponsor a triathlon on July 28 for ages 7-12.

USC triathlon
A youth triathlon will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. July 28 at Boyce-Mayview Park in Upper St. Clair. Fee is $38.50. Ages 7-12 are eligible for this event, which features swimming, cycling and running.
There are two separate distances: 75-yard swim (3 laps), one-mile bike and half-mile run for ages 7-9 and 125-yard swim (5 pool lengths), two-mile bike and mile run for ages 10-12. This outdoor event will be held weather and conditions permitting. There is no rain date or refunds. Helmets and bikes are required.

Habitat Tri Series
The Habitat Pittsburgh’s Kid Triathlon Series will feature two events.
The South Park Triathlon will be held July 21 at the wave pool. Check-in time is at 7 a.m. The race starts at 8. Ages 7-12 are eligible. Fee is $35.
The North Park race will be held Aug. 5 at the swimming pool. Check-in time is 7 a.m. Race time is at 8. Ages 7-15 can compete.
