Several Bethel Park track and field athletes qualified for the Adidas Track Nationals. The six athletes did so by successfully competing in the first indoor meet of the season held Jan. 14 at Youngstown State University.

Jenna Lang and Artemis Conaboy excelled. Both set new indoor school records at the meet. Lang took third in the 1,600-meter run while Conaboy finished fifth in the 400 dash.

Jerimiah Hamilton coasted to victory in the triple jump. A standout jumper, he qualified last year for nationals as well.

Individually, Grace Ferency placed fifth in the 60-meter high hurdles and Blake Streigel eked out eighth place in the 60-meter dash.

Ferency combined with Sadie Orie, who also qualified for nationals, Conaboy and Lang for second places in the 4×200 and 4×400 relays.

Streigel combined with Ryan Petras, Danari Clacks and Jason Nuttridge for second place in the 4×200 relay.
