9/11 SERVICE The 17th annual Prayer for Peace service will be held at 7 p.m. on Sept. 11 at Holy Child Church, 212 Station St. in Bridgeville. Sponsored by Corpus Christi Parish and the Knights of Columbus in cooperation with area fire departments, emergency teams, state and local police and the military, the event remembers those who died in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks as well as honors first responders.
